Motorized Patio Screens in Fulshear, TX
Fulshear has grown from a small town into one of the busiest home-building areas west of Houston. Communities like Cross Creek Ranch have brought a wave of new homes, many with large covered patios, outdoor kitchens and pools.
Many of those homes are set up to look out over lakes, greenbelts or open land. Owners want to keep that view, and they also want a patio they can actually sit on in July.
Keeping the view
If you bought a lot that backs onto a lake, a greenbelt or open land, a permanent screen enclosure is a hard sell. It turns the view into a grid of frames and mesh all year long.
Retractable screens only show when you lower them. When they’re up, all you see is a slim housing at the top of the opening, and the view is untouched.
Planning screens for a new build
If you’re building or just moved in, think about power early. Motorized screens need a power source near the top of each opening, and that’s easier to plan for before the patio ceiling and trim are finished.
We’re glad to talk through placement while you’re still in the planning stage, even if you’re not ready to buy yet.

Fulshear patio screen questions
Can I plan screens while my home is still under construction?
Yes. Planning early mainly helps with power, because an outlet or junction box near the top of each opening is simpler to add before the patio ceiling is finished. The screens themselves go in once the patio is complete.
Will the screens match my home’s exterior?
Housings and tracks come in a range of colors, and fabrics come in many colors and weaves. We bring samples so you can compare them against your trim, brick or stone in person.
