Motorized Patio Screens in Richmond, TX
Richmond is the Fort Bend County seat, with a historic downtown along the Brazos River and new master-planned communities spreading out around it. Many homes here are newer builds on larger lots, with pools and covered patios facing open land.
Living near the river and its low-lying land means plenty of moisture, and plenty of mosquitoes from spring into fall.
Near the Brazos
Wooded river bottomland, drainage channels and retention ponds all hold water after a summer storm, and mosquitoes breed in it. If your backyard faces any of that, an insect screen with sealed side tracks is usually the first thing to look at.
Insect mesh keeps them out without blocking your view of the trees or the breeze coming off them.
Big lots, wide openings
Larger lots tend to come with larger patios, and larger patios often have wide spans between posts. A very wide opening may need to be split into more than one screen, or call for a heavier-duty system.
We work that out when we measure, so a sizing problem never shows up on install day.

Richmond patio screen questions
How wide can a single screen be?
It depends on the system and the fabric. Very wide openings are often split into two screens on a shared post, or handled with a heavier-duty system. We’ll show you the options for your opening at the consultation.
