Motorized Patio Screens in Missouri City, TX

Missouri City sits just east of Sugar Land, with a mix of established golf course neighborhoods like Quail Valley, lake communities and newer master-planned areas like Sienna. Many of those homes share one thing: a covered back patio that gets less use than it should.

The reasons are familiar. Mosquitoes from the lakes and drainage channels, a hot late-day sun and not much privacy from the neighbors.

Golf course and lakefront lots

Homes backing onto a fairway or a lake have the best views in the neighborhood, and the most exposure. Nothing stands between your patio and the open space, so wind, sun and bugs all come straight in. A permanent screen enclosure would ruin the view you paid for.

Retractable screens handle that well. They come down when you need them and disappear when you want the view back.

Older homes, newer patios

In Missouri City’s established neighborhoods, many patios were added or rebuilt years after the house went up. That can mean beams at different heights, posts that aren’t evenly spaced or an opening wider than usual. Made-to-measure screens handle those cases, and we measure every opening separately.

If the patio cover is older, we’ll also check that the beam is sound enough to carry the screen housing.

Missouri City patio screen questions

Will a patio screen stop golf balls?

No. Screen fabric isn’t designed to take impacts from golf balls, and a hard hit can damage it. If your patio is in the line of play, tell us and we’ll talk through placement and whether screens make sense on that side.

Do I need HOA approval in Missouri City?

Many Missouri City neighborhoods have HOAs that review exterior changes. Check your community’s guidelines first. We can supply product information and samples for your application.
